Harvey was a banker and is mentioned in the October 8, 1926 issue of the Renfrew Mercury's Cobden News:
"Mr & Mrs. H.W. Stephens, manager of the Bank of Nova Scotia, Mucoria, San Diego, West Indies, after spending the past two weeks here with the former's mother, have left for other places to spend the rest of their holidays before returning to the West Indies".
