Velma was taken to Micksburg by her Grandpa Alex McDonald to Siviva Dobson's. (Sister of Grandma Eliza Robinson McDonald) who had always wanted a little girl. She was only there three days when she took an appendicitis attack and died.
According to the 1911 Census she was living with Tom and Susie McDonald in Monteagle.
